Tea Cosy Travels

As well as rugs, I also make tea cosies, I love my tea cosies and become quite attached to them, thankfully they kindly send me updates of how they are settling in to their new homes! Here are the latest pictures.

Hello from rubyrugs

Welcome to rubyrugs.

For those of you who don't already know, I am obsessed with rugging and spend a lot of my time not only making various rugs in my lovely studio, but also teaching others the wonderful art of hooking! Over the years, along with my rug group, the "Happy Hookers" , I have been involved in several exhibitions, have organised the first "Big Winter Hook-in", raising money for West Cornwall Women's Aid and have met lots of inspiring and fantastic women who are all interested in the ancient art of rug making.

This is my first blog and I intend to keep you all posted on not only what I am involved with, but also any news from the rug making world, and of course the "Happy Hookers". If you are interested in what we do, or would like to get in contact, I can be found at rubyrugs@btinternet.com

In the meantime, here are some examples of my work.
